Earthwork Quality Control

Earthwork quality control guidelines are provided in Australian Standard AS 3798 “Guidelines on earthworks for commercial and residential developments”. The standard provides for two levels of commission of the Geotechnical Inspection and Testing  Authority (GITA).

Level 1 full supervision and testing and fill certification
Level 2 limited supervision (as specified) and testing
